Profile of LiNK MV
LiNK MV (Landesinitiative Neue Kommunikationswege Mecklenburg-Vorpommern e.V.) was founded in 1997 and is an association consisting of representatives from Industry, Professional Trades, Research and Educational Institutions, Scientific Organisations and Economic Institutions. The aim of its activities is the dissemination of new information and communication technologies (ICT) in the business sector and in the field of education, science and public services.
Our specific target groups include small and medium sized enterprises, new businesses, entrepreneurial institutions and support units as well as educational institutions.

- Technology transfer (training and consulting) in different areas
- e-learning & knowledge management (technology – content production – consulting)
- optimization of business processes with web based application (CRM, ERP, CMS, CSCW etc.)

- Software development/Web Applications for:
- producing e-learning content and managing online courses

Special competence area: e-learning
LiNK MV is a regional competence centre for e-learning, offering support and consultancy in implementing e-learning from methodical, technical, organisational and communicational aspects. We produce quality and standard conform e-learning content. LiNK MV organizes the yearly e-learning conference in the north-east of Germany and other transfer workshops, maintains the regional e-learning portal and is involved in the trainer of teachers and trainers to become an e-learning author, tutor or manager. Current research and pilot projects in this area are dealing with the following subjects:
- e-learning & knowledge management using web 2.0 technologies for social and cooperative learning
- just-in-time and on-demand learning in the work process (situational and informal learning)
- quality & standardization in e-learning
- content sharing
- mobile learning
- e-learning in schools
